Recommendations for hotels in Barcelona in Nov.
Ibis Barcelona Centro
You will probably receive more targeted responses if you tell us your nightly hotel budget in euros and how many people you need to house.
Can't help you with that. I live here, no use for hotels.
I'd only like to add that Barcelona, while not being small, is a very compact city, so distances are very walkable.
The city also has an excellent public transportation system: cheap, efficient, clean and safe. So it's not that important to be "close" to this or that. In fact, it's impossible to be close to everything a typical tourist visits cause the most popular sites are all spread across the city.
Thus, I always advise visitors not to constrain their hotel searches to a particular area, this way you can find a wider choice and more options on prices.
Sorry for intruding anyway.
Btw, it's SAGRADA FAMíLIA, not "Sagrada", no shortening ;)
We're staying near Plaça de Catalunya in one of RS's recommended hotels (Hotel Lleo) and it's a short walk to the Metro and a no-changes ride to Sagrada Familia. Also an easy walk from the Aerobus stop at Plaça Universitat (recommended) or Plaça de Catalunya.
Hotel Well. and Come
Hotel Sant Antoni. Easy 5-8 minute walk to Sagrada.
