I will be in Barcelona, arriving by train, departing by air, in March, 2024. Do this forum's readers have favorite hotels for a 5 night/4 day stay. I do not want to do an AirBNB.

Rick’s recommended “BacHome Gallery B&B” was well-located in the Eixample neighborhood just a few blocks from Gaudi’s Casa Mila and Casa Batllo on the Passeig de Gracia. Inside a classic building, BacHome Gallery B&B has seven rooms with AC, an elevator and a breakfast room with a view. Just a few blocks away is the transit center of “Passeig de Gracia,”. You can take the Rodalies commuter train to/ from the airport to this neighborhood and also take metro trains from Barcelona Sants train station to Passeig de Gracia.
Definitely a great property. Prices are lower the earlier you reserve.

I believe that you meant to say that you re going to be in Barcelona March 2025.
I have just returned and stayed at Hotel Continental Barcelona. Was very happy with my choice. It was originally recommended to me by members of forum.
Only downside for some is that it is on La Rambla.

We stayed at the Bac Home Gallery described above. We liked it. Quiet neighborhood at night but close to sights.

We love the Hotel Colon. It’s near a beautiful cathedral on a pedestrian square with restaurants and souvenir stands. And the taxi stand is nearby.

We used points to stay at La Meriden and it was very nice. The entrance is on a side street right off La Rambla.
