We are taking the train back to Madrid (Atocha) and want to spend several days (3-4) touring the city before flying back home. We’re thinking being near El Parque Retiro seems a good option...close to train station, beautiful, and very well situated. We usually stay in Airbnb but want a nice hotel for this short stay...medium priced. Some suggestions please?

There are a number of hotels by the park and train station. You can see, and look them up, on Google maps. No idea what medium priced means to you.

This hotel is closer to Reina Sofia and Atocha station than it is to Retiro, but still within walking distance of Retiro. We loved it in 2017. We found it both nice and medium priced.
