We are in our 60s, active - but not party monsters, so not too noisy, but not in the residential areas. Prefer to stay in the city. Mid-range, not too expensive, centrally located. Thanks!

In 2017, we were very happy with the U232 Hotel. We walked everywhere, except Park Guell.

Years ago we stayed at Hotel Balmes on Calle Mallorca and enjoyed it. It’s closer to Casa Baltó and Casa Mila than Las Ramblas, but a metro station is a couple blocks away. It’s far enough from the hustle bustle that noise wasn’t an issue. If walking, the Sagrada Familia was 12 blocks away. Plaza Catalunya was a 20 minutes walk away.
