After my tour in Spain I have two days by myself before flying to Naples to hook on to next tour. I have hotel room close to las ramblas but a little concerned going to Naples. My plane leaves 06:30 and can anyone tell me the safest, fastest and least expensive way to get to airport leaving hotel about 04:00? I am senior, single, and solo. Thank you

Not entirely so, there's a night bus line which you could catch in Plaça Catalunya which would take you to the airport. But given the time that it takes to go there, as it's a regular bus line therefore stopping along the way, and the area which crosses on its way to the airport (a semi-industrial area) I would also recommend a taxi. Note that the night fare is more expensive (20%, which is fare T2, or 30-40% T3 if week-end nights or festives) but on the other hand the traffic is virtually non-existent so it should be a breeze (20-25' tops and I'd say around 40€*). Best if you ask your hotel to book one for you, not that you wouldn't find if you waited in La Rambla, but it's best if the taxi picks you up .
