Hotel in Cordoba

I’m looking for suggestions for 2 nights in Cordoba this August. I am working from my old Rick Steves book from 2014 while I wait for my new one to arrive.

In August it's going to be sizzling hot in Andalucia, like 100+ F many days. Air conditioning is a top priority. I stayed in Hotel Eurostars Maimonides during August a few years ago, air conditioning was good and the hotel was literally 5 feet away from the entrance to the Mezquita, with views overlooking it from the room, one of the best locations in Cordoba.

Remember to drink plenty of water and pace yourselves while sightseeing!

I enjoyed my stay at the H10 Palacio Colomera in November. I like its location, which is in the “real” city, with local life, but a block away from the beginning of toutist-land.

It’s effectively new construction behind the 100 year old facade—I’m sure it has decent A/C. (But double check!)

Thanks for the advice Carlos. I would not normally travel in August but I am meeting my daughter and young Grandkids while they are travelling. The hotel you suggested looks great. Since I am a lady travelling alone, I love to stay in the heart of things. Always feels safe walking around at night that way!
