Has anyone stayed at the hotel Atlantico Madrid? It looks gorgeous in the photos and it seems very reasonably priced. Any other suggestions for staying in Madrid? We expect to travel in the spring 2022 although hope springs eternal for autumn this year.

We always use Hotel Europa for location and mostly out of habit.

It looks nice. It isn’t as close to the popular sites as others, but you’re only talking about a 5 to 10 minutes walking difference. It does have mostly very good and excellent reviews on TripAdvisor. Like Frank, we generally stay at Hotel Europa.

We like to stay at Hotel Principal. Wry well located, well equipped rooms. We chose a room in the back for quiet location.
