Arriving Barcelona a day before our transatlantic cruise. Hotel recommendations for 1 night for 2 seniors?

Since it is just one night, you may want to just stay near the cruise port for the convenience, and I can see several hotels there.We had walked down the Ramblas to the statue of Columbus and then along the port area and along the beaches and in the Barceloneta neighborhood. There are restaurants. We found a lot of sea glass along the beach which was fun.
