Can anyone recommend a good hostel tour for Madrid
I haven't stayed in a hostel in over 40 years when I backpacked Europe for 2 months. Even then, I found that staying at a 1 or 2 star hotel much more convenient for locations and not much more expensive.
Last summer, I signed up for a hostel membership card with intention of staying at the Whistler hostel. A huge heat wave and no AC in the hostel changed my mind and I booked a regular condo hotel instead. At that time, I researched the hostelworld.com website and was impressed with the hostel details, reviews and booking system. Big difference from 40 years ago. You should start there and maybe some backpacking travel sites. Most people on RS Forum are doing tours or self tours which are at a class much higher than dormitory beds. Good luck.
