we've rooms booked in hostales in Madrid, Sevilla, Ronda, Malaga and Cordoba (hotel here) for around 60-70 euros mid June. (very nice rooms in Sevilla and Cordoba, stayed there last year)

By the way, I shall say that the b&bs, apts and hostels mentioned on the map attached above are simply gathered from positive feedback expressed in posts by users at the Barcelona forum in TripAdvisor (note: I'm referring to 'the forum', not the feedback left in the establishment fact file... I am always suspicious of those!) I simply took the time to map them out for the convenience of others.
PS. I believe the establishment you mention has 'pop up' in a non-positive way several times in different threads at the TA forums.

I've always found the facilities to be reasonably good and consistent from one location to the next. Having an HI Hostels membership will provide slightly cheaper rates and preferred booking over non-members.
