Holiday days in Spain - 1st week January

Hi there
We will be in Andalucia for 10 days arriving 30 Dec 2024, and I know that 6 January is 3 Kings day, when we will be in Seville. I was wondering if everything will be closed on New Years day 1 Jan, and also on 6 January, so that we can plan for those days to be quieter? I assume the trains still run on New Years day, so that we can use that day to do a longer train trip from Madrid to Granada. Any advice appreciated on how to factor in those days if most things are closed.
Thanks

Thanks but we're not interested in New Years eve reservations, my question was more around what is open on the holiday days on 1st and 6th January, and if a lot of places may be closed.

We used New Years Day for our train trip from Sevilla to Granada and then visited the Hammam in Granada for a lovely relaxing time in the middle of our trip.

Make reservations for your dinner on NYE, or plan to eat food bought from a grocery store that night. Same for Jan 6. Definitely plan for quieter days on Jan 1 and 6.

Most ticketed attractions will be closed on 6/1 in Sevilla. But restaurants, bars, etc. will be open. 5/1 has a major parade - Cabalgata de los Reyes Magos (cavalcade of the magi in English, I think), which is worth watching.

Many thanks for your replies - we will aim to travel from Madrid to Granada on the 1st, and just wander the streets of Sevilla on the 6th and soak up the atmosphere. We have planned to arrive in Sevilla on the afternoon of the 5th in time for the parades. On other days we will do our tours and attractions. And good point about NYE dinner, thanks. This helps a lot with our planning.
