What is the best mode of transportation from Seville to Cordoba for a day trip? I’m assuming train, but can you please help with specifics? Do I need to buy these tickets in advance? Thank you in advance!
Certainly the train. Several each day. Buy the tickets that day at the station. However, sometimes depending how early you want to buy, discount tickets could be available but they are no change and no refund. It is not that far or expensive so just buy the day of travel.
Look at trip duration, you will want the fast trains. When you get off the train, take a taxi to the old center. It's a little far for walking, especially since you will be walking around the center all day. Tickets are cheaper purchased in advance, but are like plane tickets - nonrefundable if you miss your train. If you qualify for the senior discount, over 65, it's worth looking into a gold card.
