Help; with Renfe Tickets

I purchased some Renfe tickets online but when I try to print them, I get a message that the file is corrupted. I purchased 4 tickets and have been unable to print any of them and get the same message. Does anyone know of a way that I can access these tickets online and print them at home before I leave? Is there a way to access the tickets using the localizador (I think this must be a confirmation number)? I did not create a Renfe account before purchasing these tickets and this may have been a mistake.

I read that you can print the tickets at the train station if you have the credit card that you used to buy the tickets. I am not sure whether this will work for me because I used Paypal. Any thoughts?

t has been a frustrating afternoon trying to access these tickets. I like to look at them before I leave to make sure that the dates and everything is correct.

I appreciate your help.

Can you access your email account using a different internet browser, like Firefox, DuckDuckGo, or Opera? If so, try to print the tickets from that browser--hopefully you'll be successful with a fresh download.

One option:

  1. Download the Renfe app on your smart phone.
  2. Along the bottom of the screen, you'll see a tab that says "My Journeys." Tap My Journeys.
  3. Tap the top right corner of the screen, the icon that looks like an oval with a line in the middle.
  4. It will bring up a screen that says "Associate." Enter your ticket number, date, and departure and arrival stations.
  5. Your ticket will now be on your smartphone.

Another option:

  1. Create or log-in to your Renfe account.
  2. Under My Journeys, select See All.
  3. Under Search For Your Journey enter the Localizer number.
  4. Your tickets will appear below with a print icon on the right.

I'm not an expert and the Renfe interface can be a bit wonky. But, hopefully that helps.
