Howdy,
We plan on catching the LAC bus to the airport from Granada, just in front of the Cathedral at 6:30 tomorrow morning (Saturday). We just noticed a machine, like an ATM machine, at the bus stop on our way home from dinner and are wondering if we are supposed to pre-purchase a ticket at the ATM type machine, or if we can pay when we hop on the bus? Does anyone know?

I may have found my answer. It's not the LAC bus that goes from Granada center to the Airport - sounds like it's a different company: "The operating company is Autocares Gonzales, whose name is normally displayed on the side of each bus." AND on their website it says the fee is 3 Euros and you pay the driver when you get on the bus! Whew!!!
I can confirm that for you just in case you were still worried that yes, you can just buy that from the driver. Happy Travels!
