Looking for driver from madrid to toledo & back to spain.
Leave about 9:30 am
Return by 4:00 pm
Do you need a driver for some specific reason? Toledo is a pretty easy and quick day-trip from Madrid via train.
Are you just looking for transportation or a guide for the day? If a guide + transportation, then check Toursbylocals.com. We have used different guides in various countries and have never been disappointed.
We will be coming up train the day before and trying to make an easy trip to Toledo. We plan on exploring ourselves spending the day and then returning.
There are frequent and quick trains, or buses between Madrid and Toledo, very easy to use and cheap. Best to buy your return ticket when you buy your outbound ticket. Since you will be arriving by train, buy your ticket for the trip when you arrive and are at the station for the next day, or whenever you have planned. Some times may sell out/

It has been several years since we booked a private driver thru Emily Matthews' company (which at that time operated as South Ole Spain Tours). I notice her company has grown and now has a name that reflects the wider range of her travel services. See the link at the bottom of my post.
We were thrilled with the private (English speaking) driver she arranged for us. He met us at the Parador in Granada (just outside the gate), then we traveled to Rhonda for a little bit of touring and lunch (while our driver waited), then he took us to Gibraltar, then on to our hotel in Old Town Marbella. My husband especially wanted to see Gibraltar, and Emily arranged the most wonderful guide (I think I recall correctly that he was the retired chief (or assistant) of police. He met us right outside the border (we walked over, with his escort), and he gave us the most wonderful tour, so my husband could see exactly what he wanted to see, while we had explanation along the way. He kept to the timeframe we requested (I think it was 3 hours), and he moved us efficiently without feeling rushed. Then he telephoned our driver (who stayed with the van to keep our luggage safe) when we were close to leaving Gibraltar, making sure we connected with him smoothly as we returned across the border.
Most of our trip to Spain was independent travel, but by contacting Emily, we were able to very efficiently cover a lot of ground in in one day, before staying in Marbella, then flying on to our next destination from Malaga.
We could not have been more pleased. Emily followed up the day prior, then the day of, then afterward to make sure we were taken care of and were pleased. Emily is American and fell in love with Spain, and she now shares that love with her clients. Not only were her services high quality, but they were fairly priced, too.
Perhaps she can help you with more segments or special experiences on your trip, too.
Enjoy. Safe travels.

I was going to write that in Spain we use zonetransfers. We have used them in 2 trips to Spain, once from Toledo to the airport.
