Helo with North Spain itinerary

We are going to spend a few weeks from now.

We are going to book hotels in the next couple of days and need help finalizing our plan. Our goal this trip is to relax, have great dining,views and some sights, experience small towns.

Arrival and departure from Madrid. I am sharing the current plan but we are asking for suggestions in number of nights NOT order of cities.
Day 1: arrive Madrid train to Burgos
Day 2: logrono
Day 3: Laguardia
Day 4: Bilbao
Day 5: Bilbao
Day 6: San Se
Day 7: San Se
Day 8: Pamplona
Day 9: Zaragoza
Day 10: Madrid

Hi Ptocruz,
I live in Logroño, and I would recommend taking two nights in Laguardia.

If you want to visit Logroño, it is only 14kms away.

I may be too late to help you with this, but I'll try anyway ... I was in Bilbao a couple of months ago and I stayed at the Hotel Conde Duque, which faces the river. It is almost directly across the river (by the pedestrian bridge) from the Guggenheim Museum (my reason for going to Bilbao) and perhaps an easy 10 minute stroll from the smaller, but very nice Old Town. The Conde Duque is an excellent hotel, very comfortable and it has its own restaurant

As well as choosing one of Logrono and Laguardia, I would drop Zaragoza and spend an extra night in San Sebastian to ramp up the relaxation factor...
Day 1: Burgos
Day 2,3: Logrono / Laguardia
Day 4,5: Bilbao
Day 6,7,8: San Sebastian
Day 9: Pamplona
Day 10: Madrid
