Has Anyone Used Patriot Platinum International?

Guessing that you don't have one of the Medicare supplements plans which cover foreign emergency medical expenses. (We do have this but in about ten trips since being on Medicare we haven't run up bills on any trip enough to exceed the $250 deductible, so I can't comment on claims.)

Thanks for your reply. I thought that supplements to medicare will not cover anything that medicare doesn't already cover - filling any gaps after medicare pays a percentage to the provider. We have BCBS as out Medex supplement.

njb, call BCBS and ask them. Its possible they do cover out-of-country expenses (my spouse's non-BCBS supplemental does) or they have a short term solution for this.
