I have been looking for an apartment for two couples and I want to make sure the site is legitimate before using them.

We have used "airbnb" very successfully, in fact have rented an apartment in Barcelona!. Also used in the the US and have been very pleased.

I am not sure if its legitimate but we had a very nice stay with them. They are also assisting on organized tours, entrances and parties. ENJOY!

Cross-Pollinate.com is where we found our apartment in Barcelona in the L'Eixample neighborhood. They usually have an assortment of lodgings in the cities that they list. An American couple in Rome run this and I have emailed them with prompt responses when I had a question. Also stayed in italy and France in their lodgings.

We used http://enjoy-apartments.com/ and loved it! We got an apartment overlooking Placa Reial and stayed for a week. Everything went exceptionally smoothly, and I plan on booking through them next time.The gentleman who took care of the property we stayed in was especially helpful ... even though he was 70, he hefted my suitcase onto his shoulders and carried it up five flights of stairs!
