Greetings! Looking for lodging for my husband and me in Seville. I am intrigued with Triana. Have you been? We are walkers or take public transport. Love to explore and also love coming ‘home’ to a comfy spot to rest our bones - ideally with access to a patio or terrace. Thanks in advance for any input.
This is a big overgeneralization so take it with a grain of salt on your tongue in cheek,
but I got the impression that the places close to the river tend to cater to travelers who want to see and be seen more than learn about the area. The spots that the RS guidebook recommends near the historic center were still touristy but tourists interested less in what everyone else was wearing. YMMV.
