Hammam al Andalus (Arab Baths) in Granada

Has anyone tried them out, most especially, in the past year or so?

I came across this suggestion in RS's book as well as on Trip Advisor. I thought that it may be a fun and relaxing experience - definitely unique, since it's not something we usually do. I'm hesitant since, as is often the case, I'm seeing some reviews that concern me.

For sure, most seem to agree that the treatments are not worth it. Even the better reviews seem to agree on that. The pressure is overly light and they don't touch the feet, which, when you've been on your feet for quite a while, traveling and all, should take priority. Also, those that have booked treatments have felt quite rushed - not enough time in the pools.

The reviews say that:
Children are allowed
The pictures don't depict the actual size - the pools are far smaller

I guess that I'm answering my own question, but I wanted to know if anyone else has been and what their experiences have been. Is this worth splurging on?

The Arab baths were perfect for me after so much time in museums and tourist sites around Spain. I had just arrived from a long bus ride from Madrid ( at that time the train tracks were under repair/construction), checked into my accommodations and then headed straight for the baths. I did not book a treatment but did enjoy my relaxing time there. I felt it was worth the money and time.

Thank you, Linda. Maybe we'll play it by ear and see how it is and how we're feeling.

Thank you, Maria. If we decide to do so, that's a good reminder.
