Half a day in Málaga

We'll be stopping through Málaga for one morning, arriving by bus sometime in the AM (haven't booked it yet) and leaving by bus after lunch. We'll be locking our bags in lockers at the bus station, so walking around will be fine. In fact, walking would be ideal, because once we leave Málaga we'll be stuck on a bus for 6 hours.

We hadn't planned on stopping in Málaga at all, but I figure we might as well since we'll be there. Any suggestions for the best way to spend a couple hours there, aside from an early afternoon lunch before our bus?

Personally I would check out the Castle, the Alcazaba, and hike up to the Gibalfaro fortress for the nice views. Have lunch at the Mercado central.

Madrid, back toward the airport. Looks like the Alcazaba's the way to go, and it's near some other interesting looking sites if we happen to have a bit of extra time before lunch. Thanks!
