guides in Southern Spain and outdoor walks

Hi All,
We are interested in learning about guides that lead small groups in Seville, Granada, and Cordoba. I have some prices for private tours w/ RS recommended guides, but also wondered if there are some of you who have done small group tours (eg up to 10 or so people) through Trip Advisor or Viator. We did a "semi private tour" (6 of us) of the Roman Colosseum that I found through Viator and it was wonderful. I am just trying to see if there may be some venues where we can save some money doing that type of tour for the 4 of us.
Also, do any of you have any suggestions on great hikes/walks near Granada and the White Villages? As much as we are looking forward to the city sights, we definitely enjoy time walking in nature. I don't see too many tips on great trails people have done that they recommend.

We will be in southern Spain in May.
thanks,
Joanne

I can't do rural hikes/walks, but the Alpujarras southeast of Granada are pretty, and I know that area is popular for walking.

You can get a bus from Granada to Pampaneira, Bubion and Capileira. That's how I was able to get a look at the area.

Will you be staying anywhere aside from the towns mentioned? AllTrails is a good resource in most places, but you can also drill down on an online map and find the names of the specific natural areas in the vicinity and obtain trail maps.
I’ve always heard Grazalema is a good base for hiking, but from Ronda you can access some trails—will you have a car? May is a fantastic time for hiking—not too hot yet (hopefully) and wildflowers galore!

One source for some hikes is https://viasverdes.com/. They are walks along former train routes.

You can also just search on “hikes near XX.” As an example I searched on hikes near Granada and one result was, https://www.alltrails.com/spain/granada. Remember that results may be hikes in the Provence, not necessarily the city.

A search for Grazalema returned, https://www.alltrails.com/spain/cadiz--3/grazalema

Enjoy searching for one that best suites what you want to do.

hey hey ronjo
haven't been to the cities you listed, had a cruise stop in barcelona, palma de mallora, malaga many years ago. have friends living in alicante for years working as teachers. they've traveled alot within europe and love it. always looking for different tours/sites available what's going on. here's a few you can research on for your cities
guruwalk.com
type in your cities, days, language you prefer, what interests your gang. some are free but tipping at end of tour
getyourguide.com
type in cities, what's available for what you would like to do or see. some are third party resellers, be very careful, scroll to bottom of site and most have company listed that do tours
airbnb.com/ experiences
look at very top of page (click experiences, cities, dates, # of people). you do not have to stay in an airbnb to book what they offer
freetour.com/ seville
can't help you with the hikes, more posters may come aboard from spain or know lots about it. enjoy & have fun

The Spanish app Wikiloc has links to over 700,000 trails in Andalucia. Using the search bar, type in the area where you want to walk, and trails will pop up. You can filter for length, difficulty, etc. Users often include photos taken on the walk. It is a very valuable asset for walkers in Spain. We've enjoyed walking in the Genal Valley south of Ronda, the Sierra de Las Nieves also south of Ronda, the Alpujarra south of Granada, the Sierra de Aracena west of Sevilla, and the Cazorla Parque Natural in Jaén province.
