Hi again!
This time I am looking for a guided tour of the Royal Palace. On the website, it says there are guided tours offered in Spanish and English, but I only see Spanish.
GeoffB or anyone? Any luck with a guided tour here?
Thank you!

I’ve done ( Spanish) tours at a number of Patrimonio Nacional site, the agency that owns/runs the Palace. They are always cold and robotic. I now advise against them.
Good to know Scudder. I appreciate the tip.
I highly recommend Federico García Barroso for a guided tour of Palacio Real and all things Madrid. My wife and I spent a 1/2 day with Federico, about 2 hours of which were in the Royal Palace area. The remainder was in the areas both west and east of the city center at Puerta del Sol, and as a lifelong resident of Madrid, he provides a wonderful perspective of the city history and what Madrid has to offer today. He has been on Monday Night Travels with Rick a number of times, and you can watch those episodes via the website. Federico also marked up our city map and gave great recommendations for museums, restaurants, live music events, and other things to see & do for the remaining 3 days we had in Madrid.
Federico's email is [email protected].
