Granada to Ronda and Ronda to Sevilla

I need advice on what is a convenient way to go from Granada to Ronda, and from Ronda to Sevilla via public transportation. I checked the Renfe.com for the train from Granada to Ronda. It shows, "The route consulted is not available for sale at this time or there is no direct connection." I wonder if it is better to take the train or bus. Thanks!

Hoken,
When is your trip taking place?

As Carol now retired has pointed out, there are no direct trains traveling from Granada to Ronda. You will need to book 2 separate tickets: Granada to Antequera Santa Ana, and Antequera Santa Ana to Ronda.

If you’re traveling in the next few weeks, there is a train (MD 37931) departing Granada at 8:10, arriving in Antequera at 9:04. You’ll then board train (MD 13062) departing Antequera at 10:09 and arriving to Ronda at 11:07.

In order to book this ticket, you’ll need to check here: renfe.com/horarios

  • Choose departure station as Granada
  • ,fill out date
  • then scroll down and click on ““search all stations” ( below the purple search bar)
  • then choose Granada as your departure station, and Ronda as your destination.

    • Once you get to the train schedule, click on “Query and Buy” and then on the small purple cart icon.

You can only book tickets for this journey if traveling before February 28, 2023.
However, more schedules will be loaded soon, just keep checking.

For your Ronda to Sevilla journey, I’d suggest taking the DAMAS Bus
- Choose Sevilla (Plaza de Armas) as your destination.
