Granada to La Linea de la Conception

I want to travel by bus from Granada to La Linea de la Conception on May 8, 2017. It seems there isn't a bus directly to La Linea. I apparently need to bus to Algeciras (or some other closer town?) and then get a local bus to La Linea. What are your suggestions for the best way to do my bus trip? Thanks.

In 2015 we took the train from Granada to Algeciras and the took a taxi from the train station to La Iinea. It cost on the order of 35 euros. Not very much for a pretty long trip. We were going to Gibraltar.
