Granada to Barcelona--Vueling only option?

We're traveling to Spain in September and planning to spend about 10 days in Andalucia, starting with Cordoba, Seville, Ronda, and ending up for 2.5 days in Granada. After Granada, we're heading to Barcelona, and the only efficient option seems to be flying by Vueling. But I'm seeing horrible reviews of overbooked, cancelled flights on Vueling, poor customer service, baggage issues etc. Do we just bite the bullet and take a chance on Vueling, or consider a train maybe? It seems like a long journey, and the train options for Sep are not posted yet.

I have taken Vueling about 4 times and had no problems. All airlines have horrible reviews and Vueling (owned by IAG the same group that owns British Airways) has been around since 2004 and profitable.
Otherwise the train ride is 8 to 9 hours.

Nearly 100,000 people fly Vueling every day. The ones with perfectly fine, unremarkable experiences tend not to leave reviews.

I just did that flight and it was fine. We left on time and arrived on time. I paid a little extra to sit in row 2 and have the overhead bin space. It wasn't much and well worth it. No issues whatsoever with flying Vueling.

Took Vueling last month and it was fine. I know they've taken hits on cancelled flights because of France's air traffic control strikes, which basically wiped out a lot of their international routes that fly over France. But I'd feel very comfortable booking them for a point-to-point within Spain.

Fueling is fine. Just be aware that their carryon size limits are much smaller and (coincidentally) their last-minute bag fees are super high.
