Hi everyone,
I’m visiting Spain for the first time in November, flying in Madrid and out Barcelona. In between, will be staying in Seville and Granada.
The trains seem very well-connected, except for the Granada-Barcelona leg. I can only find one direct train leaving at 3.30pm and arriving 10pm, which is rather late. Google tells me better to train Granada-Madrid-Barcelona though.
Anyone can advise which is easier?
I think all trains from Granada to Barcelona have to first go to Madrid as Spain’s high-speed train system started with the Madrid/Barcelona route and Madrid is the hub of the system.
You can spend about $100 for the 7 to 9-hour train journey or you can fly in 90 minutes for fares starting at $30 from Granada to Barcelona,
www.Skyscanner.com will show you airline fares and schedules.
