Granada, Spain - Christmas Day

Any recommendation on what one can do in Granada, Spain on Christmas day.

We are arriving on Dec 23rd, will spend Dec 24th at the Alhambra and Royal Chapel.

We will cove San Nicolas Viewpoint on Dec 25th, but will have plenty of time left. We want to join in the Christmas spirit and wanted advice on what we can do.

Also wondering if any restaurants are open on that day.

Thanks,

SVP

Our experience in Seville on Christmas day is that nothing was open except for a couple of restaurants in large hotels and they were jammed. On the advice of a tour guide the previous day we purchases bread, wine, cheese, meats, and had a couple of meals on Christmas day in the roof top garden of our hotel. Also everything started shutting down around 3 pm Christmas eve. The Christmas day activity of gift giving, and the run of shopping, etc., doesn't occur until Jan 6th.

Christmas in Spain is celebrated on Jan. 6th (aka the Epiphany, Three Kings Day, 12th day of Christmas). The season includes Dec. 25th, but it's not the big day. I expect there will be extra masses going on - not sure if there will be other Christmas related activities.
