Granada micro bus C1 and its route

Hello from Wisconsin,
We will be leaving in 12 days for a month in Spain. We will spend time in Granada. Finding good information on their city bus system has been nearly impossible for me.

My first question is: Is the route for the C1 the same as the route for the C32? I Google C1 and the C32 route comes up...

My wife has a bum knee so going up and especially down stairs is not good. I want to find a mass transit route to the top or close to the top of Mirador de san Nicholas.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

There is no bus C1. There is a C31. The C 31 goes up there stops at the Plaza St Nicholas. We were there in January. Our hotel host gave us a map and instructions on how to get around which is really easy since Granada is so small. But for sure it is a lot of up hill cardio if you try to walk.

On arrival hit the local TI and get a bus map for Granada.

Wayne,

The minibus numbers have changed.
They used to be C1, C2, & C3 but now they are as follow:

  • Minibus C30: City Center (Plaza Isabel la Católica) to/from Alhambra

  • Minibus C31: City Center (Plaza Nueva) to/from Albaicín

  • Minibus C32: Alhambra to Albaicín

  • Minibus C33: City Center (Plaza Nueva) to Sacramonte

Check this website for more information: Love Granada.com/ Transport Alhambra buses

I sure hope you already booked your Alhambra Tickets

Edited to add...

If you plan to go to the Alhambra, you can take the Minibus C30 from Plaza Isabel la Católica ( if your hotel is in the city center) to Puerta de la Justicia which is closest to the Nasrid Palace entrance. You may also consider taking a taxi which will drop you off inside the Alhambra Complex (there’s a special entrance for taxis)

Have a wonderful trip!

Well, thank you. It is nice to know that I had a reason to confuse C1 and C31.
Thanks again.
