2 active seniors need a Granada hotel for 2 nights November8-10. really liked casa Marisca but there seem to be no rooms for the nights we need. Tentatively staying at Palacio des Navas or Paraga Siete but also considering Casa 1800. We thought there might be a cheaper alternative. We basically want a good location, decent sized quiet rooms. reasonable breakfast or included would be a plus. And helpful staff.
We are staying at the AC Palacio de Santa Paula in a couple weeks, but can't review until after we do so (obviously)! Not sure how the cost would compare (we are using Marriott points), but they may have availability and meet your other criteria.
Stayed here last year on the RS "My Way Spain" tour and it was lovely. Very comfortable, clean, easy walking distance to everything.
We stayed at Guadalupe Hotel, which is up near the Alhambra. The rooms are very nice, quiet, the staff was so helpful, and there's a nice bar in the lobby. Good restaurant a couple of doors down with great views overlooking Alhambra (Jardines Alberto). There is a trolley that will take you to the city center, but it's a nice walk down.
We stayed at AC Palacio in August. Thought it was great location, very comfortable, and reasonably priced.
We are staying at Casa 1800 at the beginning of October. It was highly recommended to me by my sister.
Barbara,
My mom & I enjoyed our stay at Hotel Anacapri which is very centrally located by the cathedral & Plaza Nueva.
There's an elevator which was essential for my mom ( 88 years young!) The hotel staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was quiet clean & comfortable. The room rate included a descent breakfast too.
Enjoy your time in Granada!
We stayed at Hotel Posada del Toro for two nights and liked it. A co-worker of my wife recommended it. I would stay there again.
These are great suggestions. Still deciding. Any wisdom on location of Gran Anat Hotel and Posada Del Toro or any others? Thanks.
