Going on a mother-daughter Barcelona trip in March and there's a game when we're there. I see that we can get tickets online -- should we do that before we go, or is there a better way to get tickets? Thanks so much.

I assume you are talking about soccer tickets. If so, buy the tickets in advance, print them out at home and take them with you. Games sell out , or close to it, way in advance. My husband always attends games when we travel and has already purchased tickets for a game in Barcelona next April. He had limited seat selection. If you wait until you are in Barcelona to buy tickets, you may not be able to get tickets or to get two tickets together. Also note that if you take public transportation to the stadium, you have several different options for stops. Get off at the stop nearest to the gate where you will be sitting. The team has a good website that you can check for information.

They don't always sell out. Barcelona plays in a massive stadium, as long as they aren't playing a big rival or an important Champions League match you can typically get tickets at the stadium the day before the match. If you wish to get tickets in advance it can be easily done via the team's official web site. If your trip happens to coincide with a high-profile match where tickets are scarce I use this authorized resale site:http://www.simplybarcelonatickets.co.uk/
FC Barcelona sells a lot of tickets to tourists.
