My son is staying with a host family for 2 months in Granada Spain. Any ideas on what gifts he can bring from the US? The family consists of mom, dad, 17 yr old boy (plays soccer) and a 14 yr old daughter. Thank you.

Depends on where you are from. Years ago My son was doing a one week home stay with a family in france and they had a teenage son who was very interested in the American west. We live in Colorado so we had our son bring him some frame original Bev Doolittte western prints. He told us that once he showed them the hidden picture in her print they understood the westen part of the US. Don't know if your family would like that or not, depends on where you are from and where they are. Mostly I think they will appreciate the effort.

My general advice would be, gift giving is tricky, so if you give something representative of your home region or whatever, don't worry if you get an unenthusiastic reaction from the recipients.
