Getting to Marseille from Girona

Hi. I will be in Cadaques in early September. Is there anyway to get to Marseille from there? Perhaps a combination of bus/train? Or should I just go back to Barcelona and catch the high-speed train to my destination. I do know that this train stops in Nardone for 2 hours.

Any ideas?
Thanks

You don't need to get to Barcelona to catch a high speed train, you can do so in Girona or even better Figueres, which you can reach by a short bus ride from Cadaqués. From Figueres to Marseille there's a direct train (3h30') and it costs around 100€ (this time of the year anyway)

Found the information. Thank you so much Eric. By the way, do you know if it really makes a difference if you travel first or second class on the train since it's not that long of a trip? I think I should definitely buy the flexible ticket, just in case.
Any thoughts on "class"?

High speed train is very comfy, even in tourist class. I personally find it senseless to pay more.

. I was kind of assuming that was the case. Thanks Eric, for confirming that.

Thanks for the high speed train video. As you said, the tourist class looks super nice. Also discovered the Renfe Spain Pass E-Pass which can be purchase in segments, and printed at home before you leave. Includes the cost of seat reservation when needed.
