My husband and I are having lunch at Mugaritz at 12:30, which we're told should take about 3 hours. After that we would love to catch the 4:10 train to Barcelona. Is 40 minutes enough time to get from the restaurant to the train station comfortably? Has anyone made the trip from Mugaritz to the train station?

Google Maps calls it 15-20 minutes drive time. (I did love my lunch at Mugaritz; did not drive that particular route, as I stayed in Hondaribbia.) Arrange a departure time with the taxi that delivers you, to avoid waiting for it. Will your luggage be stored at the train station? If you drink a bottle of wine with lunch, it could be a sleepy train ride.
