Hello! We would like to go from Barcelona to Lourdes, France driving instead of taking the long train ride. Has anyone attempted to do this and what rental car agency was used? Thank you!!

Hi,
I looked into it once but was turned off bc I was flying out of France after. Renting a car in Spain and returning it in France was a big fee, a couple hundred at least. Keep this in mind if this is your plan too. I have the name of a cab driver from Barcelona who will drive you there and take you to several other Marian sites in Spain along the way. I didn't use him but he got good reviews on Tripadvisor. Please let me know if you're interested and I can send the contact info privately.

You may save an hour or so by driving compared to train, but you do have the expense of cross border travel. I would go with this 7.5 hour rail journey.
