Yes, secure your reservation and join a walking tour. To get the full magic a guide is worthwhile.

Hi,
Thank you for your input. However there are tickets to each individual museum or site or there are passes for example for Barcelona for two or three days. Have you tried the passes or have you just gotten tickets to the places you know you definitely want to see. If you have a minute I would like to hear what you have to say.
Thanks again,
Marlene

I tracked down most of the Gaudi sites (plus many by other modernista architects) in the Barcelona area but skipped the Gaudi House Museum. Therefore, I cannot say how essential it is or is not, only that nothing I read made me think it was all that interesting. So, despite spending 10 nights in Barceloma, I skipped it.

These are other places for which you should have a ticket in hand before you arrive at the location, else you will probably spend an excruciating amount of time in the ticket line and/or not get in when you want to: La Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Casa Mila/La Pedrera, Casa Batllo, Picasso Museum, Palau de la Musica Catalana. None of those needed to be booked months in advance at the time of my 2016 visit, but I think the Camp Nou Experience (soccer) did require that amount of pre-planning.
