Gaudi for first timers/kids

Hi all, my family's heading to Barcelona Feb 17-21. First time in Spain for my husband; my daughter is 13 and my son is 10.

In your opinion, what are the must see Gaudi spots for first timers and older kids?

Sagrada Familia is a must but I'm torn when I begin to plan the rest. Is Parc Guell worth it in February? Is there one house over another that would be more appealing to my kids at their ages? They are used to visiting historic houses, museums and landmarks, so they've seen a lot. I guess I'm looking for the most unusual and quirky of Gaudi's designs.

Thanks!

I would do La Pedrera (actually whether with kids or not):

It has the apartment you can visit, the interpretive center in the attic and then on the roof the amazing chimineys. It's a great way to get close up to it all.

Also at Sagrada Familia we enjoyed the museum part below with models and people working on pieces for the cathedral and the climb up the tower (the tower gives good views of roof and gargoyles and when we were there people working on it).

Enjoy the planning!

I agree with the La Pedrera suggestion, the rooftop is really quite cool. Parc Guell would be fun for kids to explore but in February you'll have to play it by ear with weather. Many years ago I did a long walk guided by a super detailed map of all things Gaudi in Barcelona, including small things like door knockers. Unfortunately I can't find it online but I'm not sure it would capture the attention of littles in any case. You've identified the two great options so far, so I'd focus on things that might be more interesting than modernist architecture (e.g. La Boqueria market, riding the funicular to Montjuïc)
