Hi all, has anyone been to Fuengirola near Malaga? We are couchsurfing in Malaga for a few days with a woman who works as a tour guide! She is proposing showing us around Malaga the first day we are here and then going to Fuengirola the next day (she will likely be fine taking us to a different place - I'm wondering about Nerja instead). My friend and I are not interested in upscale, glitzy type places... it seems that Rick Steves didn't really recommend this area. Any input from folks? Thanks to all of you who respond! :-)
