Have been trying to access www.tgcomes.es this week. I want to buy tickets for a trip from Tarifa to Sevilla. Thus far, the website will not supply opportunities to buy tickets. I have also tried plugging in Algeciras to Sevilla, but still not results. Rick Steves says is the company to use for traveling to Sevilla, and that this connection is possible...really! Any advice?

Rick is not perfect all the time. Try Rome2rio website for transportation options. It may list alternative bus companies - and try to book directly on the site. Also, are you spelling Algeciras correctly? And, Spanish websites for train can be frustrating as you have to choose 'all' for stations....like in Madrid where there are several stations. I think there are 2 bus stations in Sevilla, so maybe that is the problem?

That site works fine for a test date within a couple of weeks. You cannot book too far ahead. While I did not have to do so on my first try, it can also help to type slowly and wait for a pull-down menu from which you then re-select the city name from their "official" list.

Yes, using the pull-down menus is usually essential if they exist. It drives me nuts, given the latency I sometimes experience due to my not-great internet connection. Try typing the first 3 letters of the city name and being very patient.
