Making a trip to Cordoba from Seville tomorrow. What is better to take, train or bus. If train which one and the station and if it is bus which bus station? Thanks
Trains depart from the Santa Justa Station in Seville. Renfe.com will show you schedules and fares. Use the Spanish form of the city name, "Sevilla-Santa Justa". Note that there are several types of trains on that route, with varying speeds and fares. I even saw a promo ticket available on one of the trains. You'll save some money if you buy a round-trip ticket, but that probably commits you to taking the specific return train you choose. Tickets on fast trains are specific to an individual date and time.
ALSA runs buses between the two cities; there may also be service by other companies. ALSA buses depart from the Estación de Autobuses Plaza de Armas bus station, located on Avenida Cristo de la Expiración. In this case--perhaps because you're traveling on a Saturday--the bus doesn't save you significant money, and it takes more than twice as long as the faster trains.
