Freighter Travel

Does anyone know about or have experience with traveling to Europe by freighter? We would like to go from the east coast (preferably Florida) to Spain (preferably Barcelona) in January. What were your experiences? Who do you recommend I contact? Any ideas? Thanks, Virginia
