Considering buying tickets for the Prado and Reina Sofia museums ahead of time on their web sites -- more cost-effective for us than getting a Madrid Card or Paseo del Arte and still avoid lines (although I read the posts that say short to no lines at Reina Sofia). It looks like my two kids (ages 15 and 10) get free admission, but from what I've read, we may still have to stand in line to actually pick up those free tickets for them. Is the line to pick up these free tickets still shorter than the usual general admission line?
Rick's book implies that the line to pick up reserved tickets at the Jeronimos entrance is shorter than the "main line," but if everyone follows the same tip, then it may not be.
