Hello,
Does anyone have free parking info for Segovia? My research showed the parking near the Aqueduct Center is either becoming a difficult find or is not free-- confused
I am debating between choosing a hotel in the city center of Segovia without parking or an airbnb a bit far from center with parking, then need to take bus or Uber?
Any suggestions?
Parking anywhere near the historic center is hard to come by, let alone free parking.
There is a free lot along P.º Ezequiel González by Monumento a Cándido, Mesonero Mayor de Castilla. It’s the closest free lot to the Aqueduct Center you mentioned. Another lot is at C. Cardenal Zúñiga, 7, and yet another small lot by C. Lérida, 14. The first lot I mentioned is a 9 minutes walk from the aqueduct, the second 11 minutes, and the last one 18 minutes.
There are a number of pay parking garages. Be aware that the free lots are just open areas and not paved, so could be sloppy right after it rains.
( C = Calle/street)
Thank you so much jaimeelsabio.
So now the lot near Aqueduct is paid? Do you know how much is the fee?
I would be interested to know a couple parking garage info and the price too, if you know it, just in case free lots are full. Appreciate greatly.
You can find parking information by going to Segovia on Google Maps and typing parking or aparcamiento.
I looked at the photos for Parking Segovia Aqueduct parkia Parking PARKIA - Acueducto. Centro and one old photo showed 11 euro cents a minute for the first 15 minutes and 3 Eurocents for every minute after that. The daily maximum was €21.80. Assume prices have gone up since then.
Like all parking garages, it also says the business isn’t responsible for items left in the car or damage to the vehicle.
Parking Parkia Acueducto Is near the one I just mentioned. A one year old photo shows 85 Eurocents for the first minute, 4.5 Eurocents for minutes 2-600, and a daily maximum of €27.75.
There’s another garage on the other side of the aqueduct named Plaza Oriental Segovia. I didn’t see any prices, but because of its location right at the aqueduct it’s probably more expensive.
You are awesome!
Following you writing, it seemed APK2 Catedral - Oblatas car park has a lower rate at $18 something for 24hr.
I hope to find a spot in one of you free parking areas.
Again, thanks much.
jaimeelsabio,
Do you btw know free parkings in Caceres?
Of course. I’m headed there soon.
Free lots:
Parking 'El Madruelo'
Calle Jose Luis Cotallo, 5 Parking
Parking Hospital
Each is about a 15 minutes walk to the historic center that is a no drive area.
Another free lot, 21 minutes walk from the center is Aparcamiento tanatorio.
For parking garages our hotel recommended Parking Clara Campoamor. A garage closer to the historic center is Párking Obispo Galarza.
Each lot I mentioned is on Google maps.
Can't say thank you enough for sharing, Jaime!
Did you just type in free parking in google map? a new thing learned!
We will be visiting Madrid and head downing to Andalucia in less than two weeks, maybe following your route :)
I sent you a private message.
