Food tour in Barcelona, Madrid or both?

Hello! Pretty self explanatory title - we really try to avoid tourist traps and eat like the locals do wherever we are and often find food tours a good way to learn about a city's food and culture.

We'll be spending four nights in Barcelona, followed by three nights in Madrid - should we look to do a food tour in both cities or would we likely be trying the same sorts of foods? Is there a city you think would be better to do a food tour in than another?

Thanks in advance for your responses!
