First time traveling to Spain-Planning Advice Needed

We are traveling to Spain for the first time with 3 kids(ages 12, 10, 7).

Travel dates are for 3 weeks, leaving late June-July. Flights have been booked, but no plans and need advice planning! We are flying into Barcelona and would prefer not spending to much time there. Would love suggestions on how much time is should be spent there before moving along and the must-sees. My husband wants to go Pamplona and we'd like to stay San Sebastian for 5-7 days. I would love to travel to Seville. We'd like the trip to be relaxing and not to hectic doing too much, moving from place to place.

TIA!

I'm assuming your departure is also from Barcelona. That probably means you are committed to your last night being in Barcelona. Madrid would be preferable.

Arrive Barcelona (4N)
Fly to San Sebastián (5N)
To Pamplona (1N)
To Bilbao (2N)
Fly to Sevilla (4N)
Train to Madrid (4N)
Train to Barcelona (1N)
Depart Barcelona

You don't mention where you depart from. Hopefully Madrid, otherwise you'll have to backtrack to Barcelona and that wastes time and money.

You can easily spend a week in the Basque region (Pamplona, San Sebastian, Bilboa) and a week in Andalucia (Sevilla, Granada, Cordoba). The time left over can be spent in Barcelona and Madrid.

Some areas are pretty hot in the summer, especially Seville, near 100°F. You can find historical temperatures on most weather sites, like weather.com or accuweather.com. Areas near the coast, and to the north, are usually cooler.
