Has anyone flew from Mallorca to Barcelona and then flown out of Barcelona to the US on the same day. Just curious to see if Ryanair from Mallorca is reliable for their scheduled dept/arrival times or if we should schedule our flight back to the US the following day?

Ryanair are generally reliable with their flight times however there are scenarios that are beyond their control that can impact departures.
When will you be flying? Palma is a relatively small airport but it is a busy one particularly during peak holiday times. I fly from there often and have experienced occasional delays but nothing substantial. How long would your layover in Barcelona be?

It would be late July with a 3 hour layover

That's too tight for me. If you miss your flight you'll have to buy a new ticket at expensive walk up prices, I could do without the stress. I would fly to the US the following day.
