Hi all - we are flying Vueling airlines from Barcelona to Granada in mid March - how much time should we give ourselves at the Barcelona airport - the normal 2 hours or is that not necessary?? Many thanks.

Just in case you don't get responses from folks who've made domestic flights out of Barcelona:
In 2016 I flew home (transatlantic flight) from Barcelona. I arrived at the airport 3 hours early and needed every bit of that time. There was a 1-hour check-in line at the United counter.
I looked for, but could not find, online information about Vueling's recommended airport-arrival time for Barcelona. Often budget airlines have firm policies requiring passengers to have checked in XX minutes before the flight. I don't know whether Vueling has such rules, but they may be printed on your confirmation.

You'd better check the Vueling rules, but I suspect it's something like being at the gate 30 minutes in advance. If you need to check-in and/or drop luggage then those deadlines will be earlier. And, of course, you need to get through security. Personally, I'd aim for being walking into the airport about 90 minutes before take-off assuming you need to check-in, a bit less if you've already got your boarding card and don't have luggage to drop-off.

Thanks acraven and Nick! We'll aim for 90 min. pre departure time - no reason to make ourselves stressed by arriving later.
