Flight prices and Renfe train questions

First question, I am flying from Barcelona to Seville in June. We are flying on Vueling air. I noticed in May there were several days with discounted tickets, but none in June. Are these dates something that possibly will be discounted later on, or should I book now?

2nd question, We are taking a train from Seville to Madrid, with a stop in Cordoba for 1 night. Is this something I should book now, or when I am there? It seems most people say to book in advance, but I am so confused and lost on their web site. I can't even get it into English. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

Last thing, is sleeping one night in Cordoba a good idea, or should we just make it a day stop?

I've not flown within Spain but would presume that flight prices will continue to increase as your date approaches.

You may book your train tickets in advance in order to save money.
Here is the English version of the Renfe website

Here are some helpful websites:

I'd definitely recommend spending a couple of nights in Córdoba! :-)

Enjoy your trip!

Book now the price goes up on air fare always goes up not down.
June is the beginning of the peak travel season.
Whatever popular route (and the one you are trying to do in my view) qualifies to be booked in advance.
Either way will work you just pay more if you book when you get there.
I like just having an e-ticket that I can print bring with me and just have to worry about finding the platform where the train leaves.
They've got an English version of that Renfe site (because the British are there) it is just not that obvious how to change the language.
Here is the link to that:

I also found this website useful in purchasing tickets.

I followed the advice of using my Paypal account to purchase, as opposed to trying to use a credit card. They emailed tickets as a PDF, which I printed and took with us. The barcode scanned just like other people's printed tickets did.

In the top left hand side of the Renfe site, it says Welcome. Click that and it takes you to English.

Definitely try to purchase ahead for the savings, if you have a schedule to keep.

I can see how some people stop in Cordoba just for a few hours but we enjoyed our night there and loved seeing everything lit up at night. 24 hours should get you decent time. Depends on whether you are short on time and have to take the night away from somewhere else.

Have fun!

My family is flying from Barcelona to Granada on Vueling the first week of June. We bought our tickets on March 12th, and there were 'budget' options available, so we did get those. I would think you should just buy what is available at this point - won't go any less. Pay attention to the baggage restrictions bc these low cost carriers can be quite restrictive (for lack of a better word) and quite punishing (monetarily) if you don't follow the rules.
