Flamenco performance kid friendly

Hi
Is there a recommendation for a Flamenco performance location appropriate for a 7 year old child? Thanks

What city? What does kid friendly mean to you?

If you are in Madrid on the main tourist drag you will see Flamenco street performers

Madrid. By kid friendly I mean not too smoky or too late at night. Thanks!

What city?

Depends on your child. A well behaved kid would be welcome at any of the tourist-friendly shows I've been to. I took mine to Casa Del Arte Flamenco in Granada which was good. In Sevilla, I went to Casa de la Memoria, without kids, but it would have been fine if the kids had been there. These are small theaters so a disruptive kid would be heard, but if that's not an issue you will be fine at the shows. A bar at 2 AM with authentic Flamenco not so much ;)

Well, they are fully clothes so any performance would be appropriate. Lots of color and action along with the music should hold a 7 year old's attention. So I don't any problem or issue with a child's attendance.

We saw 2 "tourist" performances in Seville, so I can't help with specific venues in Madrid. Neither allowed smoking inside. Both were at normal theater or concert times. We're not late night people, so they were perfect for us.

You don't say whether your kid is a boy or a girl. Based on my limited experience, I'd say either gender would enjoy the show. There's music, singing and dancing. The musicians tend to be male and they may also sing and dance. The female performers dance and sing. I haven't seen any who also play instruments, but that doesn't mean they aren't out there. Both performances had at least one male dancer who danced and sang. Los Gallos is one of the places we went. I included the link as an example of a tourist venue. Be sure to look at the "opening video" a bit down the page to get an idea of the music and dancing.

Here in Tucson we have a Spanish restaurant with regular flamenco performers. When we took our grandkids there, we were surprised that the ones who most enjoyed the show were about your child's age and younger and both male and female.
