i have been to Sevilla once a long time ago. I am spending a week in Andalusia at the beginning of February. Going to Cordoba where a highlight will be seeing the horses with the flamenco. And Granada and Sevilla. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good show?
Hi there! I was following along with CWSocial's recent visit to Andalusia and noticed all the threads about Flamenco and where / how to book it. Hope some of these are helpful! https://search.ricksteves.com/?button=&date_range=6m&filter=Travel+Forum&query=Flamenco&utf8=%E2%9C%93
I've been to Casa de la Memoria in Seville twice for flamenco shows. I highly recommend it and would once again if I'm ever back in Seville.
I can suggest where you should not go. Tablao El Arenal. The food was good but the performers were not. The only good one was the guitar player.
I forgot to post that's in Sevilla.
I love to attend dance performances while I'm traveling and went to quite a few Flamenco evenings in November, which I summarized in my trip report:

My favorites were those I referred to as "Cultural Performances" (my made up name) at the Flamenco Dance Museum and Casa de la Memoria, both in Sevilla. I liked that they were a little more intimate than those I termed "Theatrical Performances." The dancers in the more theatrical performances were obviously very talented, very showy, and their performances very polished. The dancers in the smaller theaters of the Cultural Performances were able to connect more with the audience, where I was absolutely mesmerized by the skill of some of the individual dancers.
I highly enjoyed the Flamenco Show at El Palacio Andaluz and had dinner served while I watched the Flamenco show. But the Flamenco show was so mesmerizing that I just had a few bites. Even though the table was located in the middle area for dining, you felt like you were up close, but not too close and not too far back either. The passionate dancers, soulful music, and fiery energy left me in amazement. The intricate hand and footwork, captivating facial expressions, as well as the vibrant costumes showcased the beauty of Spanish culture. The show had highlights from the opera Carmen, too, which I enjoyed. I dream about that performance to this day, and the setting of the theater was superb. The theater is located at the Cruzcampo Pavilion, which used to be the site of the 1992 Universal Exposition of Seville in the Isla Cartuja section of the city. Hope this helps!! If you go, I'd be curious to know how you liked it :)
Thank you for all your responses. I have written them down and going to google the times for each. Appreciate all the feedback!
